3rd Annual Run for Wings, 5K Run/Walk

This is the 3rd Annual " RUN FOR WINGS" 5K event, one of the flattest and fastest courses in West MI. Not to mention all of the other fun family activities involved for the walkers/runners listed below. Strollers are welcome. Please arrive 45 minutes prior to start time of 8AM eastern time in order to ensure that you obtain your T-shirt, timing chip, and race packet. As a registered runner/walker you will also receive a free pancake breakfast.
The first 100 registrants will receive a technical T-shirt (still some available) instead of the standard cotton. These were a HUGE hit last year so act fast to ensure you get one this year!
On top of all of the 5K festivities, the annual Wings of Mercy pancake breakfast has become quite an event and has been a tradition now for a number of years including plane rides, helicopter rides, antique cars, and other family events. Bring the whole family for a day of fun!!!
"Day of race" registration is available; however, pre race sign ups are preferred to ensure appropriate accommodations for all participants.
This year we are once again part of the West Michigan Chip Points Series Championship. Don’t miss out on one of the flattest and fastest courses in West Michigan.
All proceeds (including 100% of your $25.00 registration fee) will be going to the local West Michigan chapter of Wings of Mercy.
Wings of Mercy is a non-profit volunteer pilot organization. It is dedicated to providing access to FREE, private airplane transportation for medical patients with low/limited disposable income. Wings of Mercy is supported through donations from individuals, private businesses, churches, and fund raising events such as our 5k event. Thanks for being a part of such a great cause!!!!
